Free Help For Struggling Employees Who Are Raising Children - Brown Bag Lunch

Seeing Your Kids from the Inside Out

Parents often feel guilty because they can see the weaknesses in their children more clearly than their strengths. Home life is chaotic because their kids seem too aggressive, defiant, overly sensitive, hyperactive or distractible. Dealing with these problems can cause working parents to feel additional stress in their work roles. Helping them to recognize and embrace their children’s strengths will cause the weaknesses to fade from view and peace to re-enter the home. Temperament Psychology has been advancing over the years and currently can be validated through neuroscientific brain maps. When parents know how their child is wired from the inside out they can relax and go with the flow of their child’s temperament versus paddling against the tide by trying to change who they were born to be.

This brown bag lunch is perfect for employers who offer wellness initiatives for their employees.

Seeing Your Kids From the Inside Out

Do you ever feel guilty because you can see the weaknesses in your children more clearly than their strengths? This was definitely the case for my daughter and I since we have opposite temperaments. We were butting heads constantly and I knew I had to figure out a different way to parent her by learning and focusing on her strengths, Recognizing and embracing your children’s strengths will cause the weaknesses to fade from view.

Temperament Psychology has been advancing over the years and currently can be validated through neuroscientific brain maps. Knowing how your child is wired from the inside out will allow you to relax and go with the flow of your child’s true temperament versus paddling against the tide by trying to change who they were born to be. I will share many relatable, authentic stories from my work with families, as well as my own struggles with parenting my opposite!

"This class has been life altering for my family! We discovered our kid’s personalities are opposite from our own, but now we have the resources to understand them better and move together in peace!" - Kristen Thompson, parent

The Fractured Fairy Tale

I drove off a cliff my wedding night! Let’s just say that my expectations for a fairy tale ending were literally crunched at the bottom of a two-hundred-foot river canyon!

Princess Ana from Frozen and myself have a lot in common since she too had to figure out that fairy tale Prince Charming’s don’t exist, but real-life Fixer Uppers are where true love lies. Over ninety percent of marital strife can be traced back to unrealistic expectations.

Knowing your own true design as well as your spouse’s will illuminate the unrealistic expectations that could be lurking in your marriage.

It was a bonding time for our ladies and I know it will last far beyond the seminar! Wendy was so much fun to work with and poured her heart and soul into making this seminar a success! I am so grateful that Wendy gave us the tools we needed to understand ourselves better so that we can be better friends to ourselves and others.” - Sara Sykora, Littleton Church of Christ, Women’s Ministries.
