In business these false summits can be discouraging and even make us quit. In this talk, Wendy discusses what the most common false summits are and how to overcome them using temperament psychology and neuroscience concepts.

Parents often feel guilty because they can see the weaknesses in their children more clearly than their strengths. Home life is chaotic because their kids seem too aggressive, defiant, overly sensitive, hyperactive or distractible. Dealing with these problems can cause working parents to feel additional stress in their work roles. Helping them to recognize and embrace their children’s strengths will cause the weaknesses to fade from view and peace to re-enter the home. Temperament Psychology has been advancing over the years and currently can be validated through neuroscientific brain maps. When parents know how their child is wired from the inside out they can relax and go with the flow of their child’s temperament versus paddling against the tide by trying to change who they were born to be.
